I am excited about owning my '78 Mustang II because it
fulfills two old dreams. I have loved Mustangs ever since I personally witnessed
people flooding the Ford showroom and eagerly buying them in 1964. (Yes I am that
old!) In 1972 we bought a '65 2+2 with a 289 and a 4 speed with a Hurst
shifter. I was driving it in 1974 when I saw the second stampede to buy Mustangs,
with the introduction of the Mustang II. I immediately fell in love with its
styling, its front end reminding me a lot of the '67's and '68's. My other old dream
was to enjoy driving an open top car in the summer, and my T-top roof gives me that
wonderful pleasure.
